How Wisman Renovation handles project inquiries, customer information, website data and privacy requests.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. Who is responsible and how to contact us

17652461 Canada Inc., operating as Wisman Renovation, is the business responsible for the personal information it handles. Business Number: 707706362. Business contact address: Suite 1400, 90 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5B 3C3, Canada. Direct privacy questions, access or correction requests and concerns to johnathan@wismanrenovation.com with “Privacy” in the subject. You can also call (226) 220-6455.

2. Information received through our services

We may receive your name, telephone number, email address, property location, renovation or development inquiry, preferences, correspondence, quotation and contract information, project notes, photographs you choose to provide, invoices and payment records. Financial documents may also be received where you supply them through an agreed business process. Provide information you have authority to share, and ask about an appropriate channel before sending sensitive documents or information about another person.

3. Purposes and consent

Relevant information is used to respond to inquiries, assess a property and proposed scope, prepare quotations and agreements, coordinate accepted services, communicate about scheduling, administer invoices and payments, address concerns and meet recordkeeping or legal obligations. Information is to be used or disclosed with consent or another lawful basis where applicable. A project inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails. You may ask about the purpose of a request or withdraw consent where permitted; withholding information necessary for a service may affect the ability to provide it.

4. Website, hosting, analytics and cookies

The website provides direct email and telephone actions. An email link opens your own email application, and you decide whether to send a message. Squarespace supplies the website platform and may process technical data such as IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages and visit times. Platform cookies and similar technologies can support essential functions, security, preferences and website analytics. The technologies that operate depend on the site settings and any choices available to you. You can manage cookies in your browser and through any website cookie settings provided. Restricting cookies may affect some functions.

5. Providers, project disclosures and location of processing

Website hosting, email, accounting, payment and other business-support providers may handle information needed for their services. Trades, suppliers and professional providers may receive information relevant to their role in an accepted project, with consent or other lawful authority where required. Information may also be disclosed to comply with law or address a legal claim. Providers may process information outside Canada, where the laws of another jurisdiction can apply. Contact us to ask about providers involved in a particular part of your customer journey.

6. Invoices, payments and sensitive information

The public invoice-information page directs customers to request instructions for an issued invoice. It does not collect payment-card numbers, banking credentials or an arbitrary payment amount. Actual payment and accounting records may contain payer identity, invoice references, amounts, dates, payment status and related documents. If an approved payment provider is used for an invoice, its own privacy terms also apply to the information it handles. Do not send online-banking passwords, full card details or full bank-account information through ordinary email.

7. Access, safeguards and retention

Personal information is to be limited to relevant purposes, with access restricted according to the business task and the sensitivity of the information. Appropriate organizational and technical measures must be used to protect information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure or loss. No website or communication method can promise absolute security. Records are to be retained only as required for their purpose, project administration, accounting, dispute resolution or legal duties, then securely disposed of or anonymized as appropriate. Ask about a particular record if you need more information.

8. Access, correction and privacy concerns

You may request access to or correction of personal information, ask about consent or retention, and raise a privacy concern using the contact above. Reasonable identity verification may be needed before disclosing personal records. Requests are handled under applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act where it applies, subject to lawful exceptions. You retain the right to contact the appropriate privacy authority.

9. Policy changes

This policy may be updated when services, information handling or legal requirements change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version. A website update does not by itself amend an accepted project agreement or authorize a new use of personal information that requires consent.
